#2 Thankful for the best MIL Ever!

I couldn't ask for a better mother-in-law.  Dawn Jenkins has been there for me and her son since day one, supporting us and lifting us up whenever we need a little motivation to keep going.
Read more below...

She's very involved in her children's lives without being all up in our lives. She tells us we've got to work it out on our own.  She prays for us and encourages us, but she never gets involved.

I most say, though, that my mother-in-law usually has my  back when Lon and I are fussing about something silly, which is very unusual for MILs.  She'll ask me, "Annette, you want me to take my shoe off and pop him!" All I have to do is say "Yes!" and it's on!

When it comes to her grandchildren, she is their biggest cheerleader.  When Austin looks out on stage during her plays, she's sure to see her grandmother in the audience.  And no one can beat her on the sidelines cheering for her grandson.

"Put number 4 in! Put number 4 in!" she chants while clapping to her own beat.  Yep, it's a little embarrassing, especially when she ask all of us to join in.  She gets so into it, and she believes if we're all loud enough, the coaches will hear us and put King in the game.  SMH...

She's a great MIL. I love her very much.  She has made it very easy for me to be married to her son for almost 17 years.  I'm very thankful to God for the best mother-in-law ever!

P.S.  I would post a picture, but she has [a] shoe and she's not afraid to use it!  :-)
