Sun Dresses in the Springtime: Austin's 15th Birthday

We celebrated Austin's birthday on Saturday, but I was too tired to post any updates.  Tonight is no different.  I'm still tired.
In a nutshell, Austin's grandmother (MIL) and I took her and four of her friends out on the town.  We hit up the Cheesecake Factory at the St. Johns Town Center where the girls stuffed themselves with a table full of appetizers and their choice of cheesecake.

Next, we headed to Tinseltown to see Tyler Perry's "Madea's Big Happy Family".  It was a great movie to see with her girlfriends.   Mom and I enjoyed it as well.  See my review and movie trailer here.  The girls seemed to have had a great time. Austin got some really nice gifts, which she opened in the truck because we forgot to bring them inside the restaurant.  We parked too far away to carry any extra baggage.
Anywho, here are the pictures from Austin's big day:

Being  silly...

With Grandma...

I didn't think the appetizers would be enough, but they were stuffed - with food left on the platters.  No worries, it didn't go to waste.  Yummy!

Funny story here.  I thought I had hit a button on Lon's camera to cause this misty effect.  When I got home I told him his camera did something to my shots.  He said the problem didn't start until after the    food arrived.   Then I remembered I was eating and snapping shots.  Must have stuck my greasy finger in the lense.  So unlady-like.  :-)

They had a blast!

I missed the shot where every waiter in the restaurant sang Happy Birthday to Austin.  She had her faced covered the whole time.  I almost missed getting this shot of her classic strawberry cheesecake.  Camera issues...  :-(

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY!!!!
